i agree with hectic but i'm almost 99% sure i read correctly what you wrote. ^^ good for you. i like to see the positive. i went to look for a success quote of some sort (since who doesn't love quotes) but i found this instead:

Stand-up comedy is one thing you can screw up and no one will laugh at you. ~ Anonymous

I'm having similar feelings with doing music. I thought God wanted me to be a catechist, but I know my greatest gifts lie in music...but that world is so hard to break into, and opera especially requires you to be the best of the best--I have some natural talent, but will I be able to develop it enough? oy. Big headaches. But God gives you gifts for a reason, and in the end you better be making use of the talents God gives you and bringing people to Him through them.

I'll pray for you :) Pray for me too!

@xjiyoungx - Wow, Clara! Glad you can relate. Not to stack too many saying and cliches upon one another but yesh, it totally takes faith. Working with God is like a two person bike. You're in the back pedaling as hard as you can and Christ will steer our way. Prayers and blessing! ^_^

RYC:  As I mentioned to Shiela, the bold language was at least in hope to invite discussion (of course, there have been few takers) -- but, I will say that in many ways we need to exercise some boldness -- St. Paul was very bold in proclaiming the truth.   I do recognize that there is a difference between those in the original Reformation and their decendants in faith in Protestantism today (namely that todays Protestants are not Heritics, as Luther, King Henry, Calvin, etc... were.
